I like the way the pens are shown. it is a great contrast between the well carved, heavy, old fashioned, metal pen stand and the new looking, light ,plastic, bright colored pens..
thanks you T and P. P, i really didn't think so much into the old and the new :) i just took it as it was, with the pens in there. but now that u told me, i can't stop thinking about it ;)
nice picture, but somehow feel that there is a bit more of reflection from the upper portion of the stand than lower portion, could the lighting have been more flat? just a feeling. I know its difficult to see that, but...
thanks kaleidoscope and srikanth. S, yeah u r right about the lighting, i really would have liked it more uniform .. but i did not have much choice of lighting then .. just a tubelight or a desk lamp, and either way it was uneven lighting. but i liked it for the designs and the detail.
