This was taken from the Tybee Island lighthouse, near Savannah. I envy those people staying in the houses here right by the beach! Posted by Hello

Savannah: Ominous

This was on the way back from Savannah. It was threatening to rain all weekend, but stayed really good till we were out there. The skies opened up on the way back to Augusta, almost making us pull over to the side. Posted by Hello

Standing tall - 1

My first attempts with photoshop other than basic stuff like cropping. These are some wild flowers that caught my eye at Yosemite National Park, CA. The one in front is off-focus though. Posted by Hello

Canal: Widescreen

This is the last picture I'm posting from the Canal series atleast for a while. The building, Enterprise Mill was an old flour mill that's now been modified to condos, apartments and offices, however still preserving the architecture. The black portions at the top and bottom are the overhead bridge and its reflection. I thought it looked like a widescreen view. Posted by Hello

Canal: Catching up

This is our usual hangout in the canal. Those two people on the bridge are my friends, catching up on the day's happenings :) Posted by Hello

Canal: Beast in the sky

This was also taken at the canal. This looked like some creature pattern .. the two hind legs and the torso and head. Posted by Hello

Canal: Latitude and longitude

This is the over head bridge above the canal, part of which is seen along with its reflection in 'Patch of light'. The framework beneath was interesting. Lara, I had to steal the title from one of your previous posts :) Posted by Hello

Canal: Forked tail

This is one of the boats seen in 'Patch of light'. Along with the reflected, the edge looked like a forked tail of a bird. I desaturated it a little bit to give it the antique look. Posted by Hello

Canal: Criss-cross

Here's another picture of wires, and to my advantage again (also see Wired) :) The criss-cross pattern looked really nice in the water. I upped the contrast to visualize the lines better and also increased the saturation. Posted by Hello

Canal: Patch of light

Also taken at the Augusta Canal (as the previous two posts), this is the view I got between a bridge on top and its reflection at the bottom. Posted by Hello

This is from the canal as well. These creepers looked pretty against the wooden bridge. Posted by Hello

Canal: Wired

This was taken at the Augusta Canal. Its a rather abandoned place but there's a walking trail and some people come to fish. One of the major roads of Augusta lies in the far end of the picture. At sunset, it looked like a big web of wires. Posted by Hello

This was taken at Lake Champlain, Burlington, VT. Its the most beautiful lake I've seen. Beyond those mountains (Potpourri .. is Adirondacks somewhere there??) is upstate New York. Posted by Hello
