My first attempts with photoshop other than basic stuff like cropping. These are some wild flowers that caught my eye at Yosemite National Park, CA. The one in front is off-focus though.

This is a nice experiment. The selective desaturation actually helps but the front one being off-focus is a tad disappointing.

Nice attempt, i have to repeat the view about the off focus and also would like to see a brighter color flower, well thats a personal choice ;)

thanks guys .. yup, i was pretty disappointed with the focus. but i posted it anyway coz i thought the periwinkle looked pretty amidst the monochrome. K, yup, a brighter color wud look better too.
