hi pple .. im getting spammed big time in the comments section - an average of 3 spam messgs everyday. does it happen to you guys on blogger websites? what should i do?

Regd the spamming, not much options there from what I read in the blogger help except for deleting them whenever they appear. Hey, but you can look at the brighter side - your blog is getting popular and so the spam!

Ah, little one, three unwanted messages per day is not "bigtime spam".

One day everything is somewhat-fine, and the next I get an e-mail from my web host saying I've overshot my database quota by 100 MB. Yes, I received 200 MEGABYTES worth of spam in under 4 hours.

Now that, is bigtime spam.

As for fixes, you are restricted with what blogger provides, so you could
a. Disable anonymous commenting and force sign ups (evil and annoying, but sometimes works)
b. Switch to a different comment scheme to do other things--blacklist IPs, filter words, use one of those random image based authentication schemes, etc (too much work and not guaranteed to work)
c. Sit pretty and deal with it, because 3 deletes a day is nothing to complain about.

Oh, and this is posted for the wrong image, but diagonal frames rock.
