Savannah Rapids again, where I also took this one.

An image from Navrathri last month. Garba and Dandiya are dances that go along with the festival - Navrathri (its a 9-day long festival, hence the name Nava - nine, and Rathri - night).

As for the picture itself, I did a partial desaturate for the background alone. The original looks better, but its too colorful and distracting, and takes the focus off the dancers.

Amazing fall colors at the Savannah Rapids. It was nearing sunset, and the sunlight falling on the tree tops made them glow in reds and oranges.

Lol .. spending most of my time in the lab, going out and taking pics had become near impossible .. so I decided to get some pics in the lab while I have some waiting time between experiments :) Here's a box of micropippette tips all neatly stacked up.

Lights streaming into my room .. through the blinds again :) Don't know what the deal is with my fascination with blinds and light .. this is the third one so far. Also check out Blinded and Zebra.
